Caricatures

For a number of years, if not decades, I drew caricatures of friends for their birthday, anniversary, leaving, and presented as a gift. Pencil, ink, watercolour, I caricatured from photographs and a list of personal characteristics, woven together to make a one-off personal cartoon. Here are a few of my favourites.

I would also draw figures, animals, portraits, again as gifts, or for commercial printing and sales. A popular series is my "skull" collection, mostly printed onto canvas as wall art, but also available as novelty" or "alternative" gifts on tea-towels, mugs, bedspreads, travel cases....
